With a scientific background, Aurélien has authored and co-authored more than a dozen international publications and patents in the fields of ophthalmology and optics. It was during his thesis that the technological innovation behind the Keranova start-up was developed and patented. He is a co-founder and joined Keranova at its creation at the end of 2015 as Scientific Director.

About Aurélien Bernard
Aurélien holds an engineering degree in biomedical instrumentation from the Institut Supérieur d’Ingénierie de Franche-Comté (Franche-Comté Higher Institute of Engineering), a master’s degree in cellular and tissue engineering from the University of Franche-Comté and a doctorate in biomedical engineering on the interaction between femtosecond lasers and corneal tissue from the Jean Monnet University in Saint Etienne.
